In both diabetes and obesity, there is significant need for improved treatments based on a better understanding of the underlying disease pathways and genetic factors contributing to the conditions. Toxicogenomics
Pharmaceutical companies are embracing toxicogenomic technologies to reduce late stage failure rates of therapeutic candidates, accelerate time to market, and reduce development costs.
