| Martin F. Haslanger, Ph.D Vice Chairman |
Marty Haslanger Haslanger joined Ribonomics as Vice Chairman in January of 2006. Prior to that he co-founded Amphora Discovery Corporation in September 2001. As President and CEO, he built the company to be a unique discovery engine with multiple projects at the IND-enabling stage. He moved to the Vice Chairman role in January of 2005. He has 28 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry experience. Previously he served as Executive Director of Research Technologies and President of Sphinx Labs, at Eli Lilly and Company. Previously, he was Director of Cardiovascular and CNS Medicinal Chemistry at the Schering-Plough Research Institute. He began his pharmaceutical career at the Squibb Institute for Medical Research in Princeton, N.J., now part of BMS. Dr. Haslanger received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University. His scientific and technical work is described in numerous patents, publications, and presentations.

Dr.
Cheatham joined Ribonomics, Inc. in January 2002. Prior to
this, Dr. Cheatham was Director of Cell Therapy at Artecel
Sciences, Inc, in RTP, NC. Prior to that, Dr. Cheatham held
a joint appointment as a Principal Investigator at the Joslin
Diabetes Center and as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical
School. While at Harvard, Dr. Cheatham published extensively
in the areas of molecular mechanisms of insulin action, adipocyte
cell biology and obesity. Drawing on his extensive experience
in these areas, Dr. Cheatham is presently applying Ribonomics
technology platform to the analysis of pancreatic ß-cell
function, obesity and insulin action in adipocytes. He graduated
from King College with a B.S. in Biology and earned his M.S.
and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry at the University of Tennessee
at Knoxville.

Dr.
Henderson joined the Company in April 2001 as the Companys
first scientist. Prior to joining Ribonomics, Dr. Henderson
was an Assistant Research Professor in Microbiology at Duke
University Medical Center, where his research interests were
focused on studying protein-RNA interactions. He was recruited
to Duke by company founder, Dr. Jack Keene. Prior to that,
Dr. Henderson worked at Chemgenics Pharmaceuticals, a functional
genomics biotechnology company located in Boston, MA. Prior
to joining Chemgenics, Dr. Henderson consulted for Cubist
Pharmaceuticals, developing the Companys initial informatics
systems. Dr. Henderson received his post-doctoral training
at M.I.T. in the area of protein-nucleic acid recognition.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
with a B.S. in Chemistry and Purdue University with a Ph.D.
in Biochemistry.
